The initial consultation with Kaitlyn Miller is always free. During the consultation, she will give you her initial impression of your situation, and determine how she can be of assistance to you. She will discuss with you what will need to be done for your case, and the time it is likely to require. She does not accept all cases presented to her; each prospective client’s case will be evaluated and handled on its own merits. Attorney’s fees are paid at the time of retaining Kaitlyn. Payment arrangements may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Most of Kaitlyn’s services are provided at a flat rate attorney fee. During the initial consultation, Kaitlyn will determine if your situation is one to which a flat fee would apply, and what that fee would be. The fixed fee quoted will include all the work that will be required on your case, without limitation, up through settlement. The fees for trial, if necessary, will be discussed and determined in each specific instance. Every situation and every client is unique; the fee will reflect the complexity and location of the matter. Most importantly, a flat fee agreement eliminates any last minute surprises, or the concern that an attorney is taking any longer than absolutely necessary to complete your case.
While hourly rates are not common in her practice, for those legal services that do not allow for a flat-fee agreement, Kaitlyn will work diligently and efficiently to resolve your matter. By keeping her overhead low, she is able to provide the services you need without incurring any unnecessary additional expense.
